The front cover represents Bella's heart as well as her life, as the delicate balance is frayed (Just as the ribbon). Her heart is torn between Jacob and Edward. But the cover is open to different interpretations and many people will think differently. -Captain Libeka
i think the ribbon represents Bella. the ribbon is torn just as she is torn over if she wants Edward or Jacob more.
the ribbon is Bella. she is torn apart between Edward Cullen and Jacob Black. this what i think the cover of Eclipse is.
the ribbon is supposed to Bella and the tear represents her unwillingness to give up her human life. also the ribbon represents her choice between edward and Jacob and how she doesn't want to give up either
Its called Zephyr.
Some symbols in Stephenie Meyer's book Eclipse include the red ribbon in Bella's hair representing her connection to Jacob, the werewolf pack tattoos symbolizing loyalty, and the moon symbolizing the supernatural forces at play.
According to Stephenie's website: The apple on the cover of Twilight symbolizes forbidden fruit The torn and frayed ribbon on the cover of Eclipse is to symbolize a not-so-clean break And the Queen and Pawn on the chessboard on Breaking Dawn is to show how Bella went from the weakest player to the most powerful. (the New Moon cover had no specific meaning)
In Eclipse, Bella is trying to choose between Jacob and Edward, but she keeps holding on to both of them. Even in one part of the book Bella says that they are pulling her apart. The ribbon on the front is Bella, and she being torn in two.
I spose it means Bella's torn between Jacod and Edward and the treaty also is represnted by the ribbon.
Imagery? There are now pictures in the twilight saga but the cover picture for eclipse is a red ribbon that is torn in half only connected to together by thin threads. Hope this helps! :)
Actually, the ruffled tulip is on the cover of New Moon, the second book in the Twilight Saga. As it were, Stephenie Meyer says on her website that she had nothing to do with the cover for New Moon and she herself does not know what it's supposed to mean.
It represents Bella's emotional state. One half of this ribbon represents Jacob, and the other, Edward. The frayed bit in the middle shows how she loves both of them, but in the end can only choose one.
Stephenie Meyer's Eclipse was already released in both Paperback and Hardcover. Although, the hard cover came out first. Currently, the only book in the Twilight Saga that hasn't been released in Paperback is Breaking Dawn. But all of the books are available in Paperback and Hardcover, except Breaking Dawn.
