How Can I make An Egg Float in Salt Water whats the ingredents and more important how may i do this Experiment

Since this is an experiment, keep dissolving more salt until the egg floats. It should once you've added enough. It all has to do with the amount of water , and the amount of salt dissolved in it.

An egg dropped in a tall glass of water will sink because the egg is denser than the water. If salt is added to the water and the egg is dropped into the solution, the egg will sink. This is because the salt took up the same amount of space making the salt water denser and pure water. This causes the egg to float.

The egg will sit higher in the water because salt water is more dense than

fresh water, so each cubic inch displaced results in more buoyant force.

Dissolving salt in water increases water density and hence eggs float.

It's density. Google it and you should get a lot of answers

As salt is added to the water the water become more dense. At a certain point the density will be greater than the egg's density and the egg will float.

Will an egg float in salt water or tap water?

Eggs float in salt water but not in tap water, which is a fresh water. This is because salt water is more dense than fresh water.

Does salt float in water?

Yes . Egg float in salt water because salt water is much densier than pure water

Can an egg float in salt water or fresh water?

salt water

Can a egg can or can't float in water?

an egg can float in salt water.

Will soda in a can float?

A can of soda can float in salt water because the salt water is more dense than the can of soda.

How does the salinity of the water affect an objects ability to float?

Salt water has salt (!) in it, ego it is denser and takes more weight to displace it; the reason things float in whatever. The denser the liquid, the higher things float

How does the amount of salt water affect an egg?

The egg will float at the salty water

How does salt effect an object float in water?

No, salt gets dissolved in water. Fresh water floats above salt water. In places with little mixing (fjords) there can be a several centimeter thick layer of fresh water above the salt water.

Density - ability for a boat to float?

It is the displacement of the vessels weight and the freeboard remaining of a vessel that determines whether a vessel will float and or sink. A ship will float higher on salt water (salt water is denser) than if on fresh water (less dense).

Why does salt water affect the way objects float?

salt water is different from tap water. when salt is added to water it converts the tap water to salt water. This increases the density of the water, and allows more objects to float above it. remember, when objects are mixed like that, the greater the density, the further it is from the surface.

Will a egg float in salt water?

Yes, and egg will float in salt water.

Does objects that float in water float in salt water?

Yes. Salt water has a slightly higher density then fresh water which means its a little easier for things to float in salt water. So if it floats in fresh water it will certainly float in salt water.

Is it easier to sink or float in salt water?

it is easier to float, salt water has a higher density. The more salt, the easier it is to float.

How does the amount of salt makes the ability of objects to float?

Salt water is more dense than water, so displacing the same volume of salt water as fresh water, yields a higher bouyancy force.

Will an objects float better in water or salt water?

an object will float on salt water best

Why does salt float?

Salt is soluble in water, doesn't float.

How do objects float higher in salt water?

Objects float higher in salt water due the density caused by the salt, the more salt present in the water the higher the object will float.
