Actually, it's about finding God. The song writer said:

"Its about the disappointment, the heart ache, the let down that comes with life. Sometimes you're let down, sometimes you're the one who lets someone else down. It gets hard to know who you can trust, who you can count on. This song came out of a tough time, and I'm still right in the thick of it. There's some difficult circumstances my family and friends have been going through over the past year or so and can be overwhelming. It wears on me. It demands so much of my faith to keep believing, keep hoping in the unseen. Sometimes the tunnel has a light at the end, but usually they just look black as night. This song is about that feeling, and the hope that I still have, buried deep in my chest."

"When I first heard this song, I liked it but never really listened to the lyrics. Then I saw the video and was so confused about what the song meant - were they yelling at God, doubting Him, or questioning Him?! The more I listened and watched the video, the more clear it becomes. See, God always finds us, and to us it seems like He finds us too late, but really it is at just the right time. It is when we are broken, lost, confused and/or hurt that we need Him the most. He knows just how much we can take before He steps in and saves us.

And we always wonder what takes Him so long to answer us, why does He wait until things get to their worst before He helps us. But He is saying the same to/about us. Most of us never seek Him until we are at our most broken. He is always there and we don't call Him until we need Him.

So the question really is, why did WE have to wait to find HIM?"
