The song of the enemy is symbolic to the negative thoughts Kino has in his head, while in frightening situations. In trying situations, we tend to create outcomes and negative probabilities (songs) in our head that have a snowball effect. That is why, in some scenes, Juana tries to fight off The Song of the Enemy, with The Song of the Family; in other words she tries to think positively during negative situations. It is also a type of foreshadowing of bad events to come.
In "The Pearl," songs symbolize communication, unity, and cultural heritage among the villagers. They provide a means of expressing emotions, sharing stories, and connecting with one another, reflecting the community's bond and values. Songs also serve as a form of resistance and resilience in the face of adversity.

the song of family, the song of evil, the song of the pearl
John Steinbeck used the pearl as a symbol in the book to represent greed, materialism, and the corrupting influence of wealth. The pearl serves as a metaphor for how people's desire for wealth can lead to destruction and loss.
The Pearl symbolizes freedom to Kino and his family since he can use the money he gets from selling the pearl to move them out of poverty.

Satan's Bed by Pearl Jam.
Song of the Family, Song of Evil/Enemy, Song/Music of the Ppearl, (Song of The Pearl That Might Be)
This is some post-production thing. The Pearl is not a musical comedy, it is very heavy stuff, and I can"t recall any popular songs that might even have been based on it.
Songs by Pearl Jam can be downloaded from the Amazon MP3 store or ITunes. They can also be found on You Tube or on Spotify. CDs are available in most good record stores including HMV.
