Dialecto is the Spanish word for dialect. This is usually used in reference to some of the Native Indian (Mayan/Incan/Aztec) languages that are abundant in many remote parts of central and South America.

Mi papá habla en dialecto.

My father speaks in "dialect" (or native tongue).
