The seven gifts of the Holy Spirit are given in baptism. We grow in them by practicing virtue throughout our lives and the gifts are sealed in us at confirmation.

Although many churches and faiths practice "sprinkling" as a form of baptism, the Holy Bible (the original King James version) tells us that we must be totally immersed in water for it to be a true Christian baptism.
