The tilt skull makes weaknesses weaker and strengths stronger. For instance, with tilt on, it will take 8 headshots with a sniper rifle to kill a brute minor on Normal, while it will take 2 plasma rifle bolts to strip the power armor. Tilt also causes unshielded opponents to have a huge resistance to plasma. For instance, an brute minor with stripped power armor can take a full plasma rifle without dying.

∙ 12y agoIf you don't know, If you get 5 skulls on Halo 3, you get this armor called Hayabusa.
If you get 9 skulls, you get the Hayabusa arm templates. If you get 13, you get the Hayabusa helmet. There is 13 skulls in total in Halo 3. Some people can't get the Catch skull though. So there is a bonus skull in the level with the Flood where you can unlock the Catch skull. The tilt skull's effect in Halo 3 if you turn its effect on is that your enemies in campaign becomes stronger.
