I'm going to assume you mean the title: "New Moon". As you've probably noticed, the shape of the moon that you see in the sky goes through a whole cycle of "phases" in the course of a month. Beginning with a very skinny slice on the right side, it grows and grows for two weeks until the whole circular moon is visible. After that, it begins to disappear, a little at a time, night after night, and after another two weeks, all that's left is a skinny slice again, but this time it's on the left side. Then the whole thing repeats, every 29 days. You could start describing this process at any point. I started with the skinny slice on the right side.
