Girl Scouting and Girl Guiding in France is pretty much like Girl Guides and Girl Scouts everywhere. They are concerned with community development and with intercultural relationships and learning about other religions. They work to build a system of values based on spiritual, social and personal principles. They are concerned about the environment and nature conservation.
The answer to this question all depends on what you think of is "fun" and what kind of Girl Scout and/or Boy Scout experience you have. If you don't find a troop that does the kind of activities you like to participate in, then you might think it isn't fun. But if you find a troop that participates in activities you like and explores things you have never tried, you will have fun.

I don't know if she was a girl scout when she was younger, but she's not now. She just wore a Girl Scout uniform to the Honda Civic Tour press conference for fun. This is a matter of opinion. If you enjoy the activities, participate in the planning and events, make friends with the other Girl Scouts, follow the safety guidelines, and follow the Girl Scout Promise and Law, you will be happy, do fun things, and have a great time!
