In the yin yang philosophy, the sun represents yang, which symbolizes light, warmth, and activity. The moon represents yin, which symbolizes darkness, coolness, and receptivity. Together, they represent the balance of opposites and the interconnectedness of all things.
yin is the black part of Taiji, it symbolizes moon, night, woman, etc; because Taoism believes everything has two sides, Yin symbolizes the negative side; Yang symbolizes Sun, man, any positive side of a thing; they are equal and rely on each other, so it's nothing about sexualism
Yin and Yang are not persons. They are the Daoist names of the interdependent opposites symbolizing duality in all aspects of reality: male/female, matter/space, light/dark, etc. Daoism emphasizes that there is no "stand-alone" polarity, i.e. there can be no light without dark to contrast it. Its most common visual representation can be seen in the Korean flag.
The yin-yang symbol symbolizes the continuous change of balance and is represented by black and white. If the colors are changed, the symbol loses this meaning.
yin is the fminine, yang is masculine. the symbol comes from the ancient Dao religion in China. it symbolizes eternity, good and evil, light and dark, male and female

The yin yang is the easily recognized Taoist symbol of the interplay of forces in the universe. In Chinese philosophy, yin and yang represent the two primal cosmic forces in the universe. Yin (moon) is the receptive, passive, cold female force. Yang (sun) is masculine- force, movement, heat. The Yin Yang symbol represents the idealized harmony of these forces; equilibrium in the universe. In ancient Taoist texts, white and black represent enlightenment and ignorance, respectively.
A yin-yang is a circular symbol with black and white sections, representing the fusion of the concepts of yin and yang.
