Adages are like Proverbs; they are mean to guide, renew, comfort, or edify in times of stress or adversity. One adage Christians use is: "What Satan meant for bad, God uses for the good." The adage means that even when something really bad happens, God can turn it around into something good. We can find an example or two from The Bible.
Modern example
In Genesis 50:20, Joseph tells his brothers that what they meant for evil, God meant for good.
she said that this was meant to remind others to be on their best behavior and be good to others.
In the Bible, Satan was God's angel, but became evil out of greed. They aren't representations. The modern christian names The Christian God, "God" or "Lord". God's name was really Jaweh or Jehovah. Final answer: In the Christian mind, they are real, maybe even physical.
I asked my pastor this same question not a week ago. He told me Call of Duty is a very good game because it helps bring people together. The communal spirit of killing zombies (Satan's spawn), Germans (Satan's spawn), Jews (Satan's spawn), and anything not christian (Satan's spawn), is good for the soul and should be exercised regularly. This should be done in real life (if you can get away with it) and in video games (because no one can stop you) as often as possible.
There was no equivalent to the Christian 'Satan', or the devil, but the ruler of the underworld -- the afterlife -- was Hades. He wasn't good or bad, he just happened to get the bad straw in the drawing of lots between himself, Poseidon, and Zeus.
According to my understanding of this, "Satan" is the name of ONE specific individual, the chief of all evil (according to Christian beliefs, and some other beliefs), so it doesn't make much sense to talk about "examples" in plural, if there is only one. Answer 2: Good Examples of Satan's influence are the deadly sins like pride, etc...
it Satan for happy and good so if you have eleni as your name you have a good name.
According to the Christian Bible, 666 is associated with Satan so for most people, it is bad luck.
In Christian theology, Satan is often portrayed as a deceptive being who may try to mimic miracles to mislead people. However, true miracles, understood as acts of divine intervention, are attributed to God or other holy figures, not Satan. Satan's actions are typically portrayed as deceitful and harmful rather than miraculous.
