in the early days of televisiion, the screen that one watched the picture on was more than just the glass 'screen', but included the necessary parts to deliver the video portiion of the television experience, was actually called a picture tube. From that fact people sometimes called it the 'tube', or sometimes the 'boob tube'....just as a reference to television. I think that the only one to know the true answer to the question is the one or few who officially gave You tube it's name. In my opinion, though, I think it is referencing just that ... tv. "You tv" as in videos....= tv --- about whatever YOU want... or since anyone can make and ppost their own from home....it could refer to TV-- OF YOU!

It all depends on what you mean by "suckling tube." An Aardvark, for example, has a long suckling tube that swallows ants. While animals such as flies have a tube called a "proboscis" in which it uses to drink.
