Which is truthful because anyone who knows anything about communism would know immediately that communists are strictly against racism, and it is declared in the communist manifesto.Communism, like any other variant of socialism, is by its very nature collectivist. That means that communists, and communist theory, consider people at the level of class. According to communist theory, classes evolved over time, and now we are left with the bourgeoisie and the proletariat. Communist theory also holds that you should not further divide people past classifications of class. Communists are very much against discrimination, including homophobia, racism, and sexism, and it states in the communist manifesto: "common interests of the entire proletariat, independently of all nationality" and "They do not set up any sectarian principles of their own" which defines that communists are against discrimination, racism, and nationalism. Communists frequently clash with racists and Nazis as is witnessed in the Greensboro massacre.Byrd and the Associated Press, it should be noted, also use the label "ultraconservative" in an attempt to discredit the John Birch Society.
