Depends entirely on what TYPE of mine it is. Some are open pit mines- they may look like a very deep crater with spiral lines (the haul roads for trucks) going to the bottom. But an underground mine may look like nothing but an opening in the ground, with a conveyor and ventilation fans being above ground.
