In battle, different types of weather can cause damage to your Pokemon. Rainy, Sunny, Blizzard, and Sandstorm make your Pokemon's HP go down if that is their weakness. The ability Chlorophyll restores HP in Sunny weather. On the way to Snowpoint City, there is an intense blizzard that you have to go through in order to reach your destination. It slows you down, and makes you more vulnerable to battle people. It's also hard to see.
