Every person has what I call their own "dream language." This is a language made up of your many experiences in life, the concerns you may have when you go to sleep, and the tendency that we have to use certain objects, ideas, or language to express ourselves when we are asleep. For this reason it is difficult to know what "cotton plants" may mean to you as opposed to someone else. It may be helpful for you to reflect on some of the following:
- Was it a positive, happy dream? Or was it a fearful or anxious dream?
- What were you doing in the dream and how did you feel about it?
- What do you think of when you think of cotton plants when you are awake?
