I would say you would need a bare minimum of at least a 4.0 unweighted. I believe the average GPA last year was a 5.0 or 5.2. But the University of California's also look at your classes, not just your GPA. UCLA said they based their acceptance on three things: academics, involvement with your surroundings, and how you get past your problems or something. You also should have a good 1700ish on your SATs, i would shoot for 1900+ though.
