Any dog food will put weight on your dog if you feed ENOUGH of it and yoru dog is otherwise healthy. If your dog is too skinny or not gaining weight with plenty of intake of food, you had better see a veterinarian.
At least in the United States, canine obesity is a major problem among pet dogs, so I would not recommend trying to put weight on your dog unless your veterinarian recommends it. To get a dog to gain weight, you need to provide more calories than the dog is burning each day. One way to do this is increase the amount of food being fed per day by 1/4 c of food. You should carefully monitor your dog's weight while doing this, and cut back on the amount of food when your dog reaches an acceptable weight.
Put the dog on a treadmill. It works, trust me. Or even take it for walks. Make your dog eat diet dog food also.
Certainly, you can use a bowl to put the food in for the dog to eat.
Get some dog food. Put it in a bowl. Then give it to your dog
My ACD eats Wellness Dry Healthy Weight Dog food. He loves it.

Feed it less and/or exercise it more.Get them a Kong toy or some kind of other toy you can put food in you can even make your own, then put the regaller ammount of there food for that breed in the toy and they will have to work to get there food, it helps.AnswerTake the dog for regular walks, give reasonable amounts of a good quality dog food and avoid giving the dog people food or snacks.
You should put water in the dog food or you can get him some soft food like stuff in cans.
