bullmastiff is more aggressive because it is in the breed
The Tibetan Mastiff is an ancient breed of dog that originated in China, possible as early as 1100BC. See the link "Dog Breed: Tibetan Mastiff" for more information.
The English Mastiff and Cane Corsa are both Mastiff breeds. There are many dog breeds labeled under Mastiff. Some more are the Bullmastiff, Neapolitan Mastiff, Tibetan Mastiff, and the Dogue De Bordeaux. Also, the Great Dane was first known as the German Mastiff.
From Wikipedia: The Tibetan name for the breed [Tibetan Terrier], Tsang Apso, roughly translates to "shaggy or bearded (apso) dog, from the province of Tsang". Some old travelers' accounts give the name "Dokhi Apso," or "outdoor" Apso, indicating a working dog which lives outdoors. Other "Apso" dogs from Tibet include the smaller and more familiar Lhasa Apso (called the Lhasa Terrier in the early 1900s) and the very rare Do Khyi Apso (bearded Tibetan Mastiff, sometimes considered as a Tibetan Terrier/Tibetan Mastiff cross.)
Could work the other way around as well... the Mastiff could choke on the guinea pig !!! --------------- It may, my English Mastiff barked in my baby guinea pig's face and he was very surprized, but nothing happened to him. I suggest you get a book on guinea pigs for more info.
Quite a few actually. Popular ones are... English Mastiff German Mastiff (Better known as Great Dane) Tibetian Mastiff Neapolitan Mastiff Bull Mastiff Anatolian Mastiff French Mastiff Spanish Mastiff And still there are more. c:
A bull mastiff is a mastiff but if your refering to an English mastiff they probably live about the same They are both large muscular dogs and I know an English mastiff live 8 to 12 years. To get an idea of your dogs life span to to the breeder.
great Dane it weighs about 150 -200 bull mastiff weighs around 150
Hercules That is not true (Hercules, who the heck is Hercules??) The breed has a standard that we as breeders must breed to. The males are to be around 25-27" tall at the shoulders, females 24-25" tall. Any taller than the standard for the breed is a no no. It is important to keep to the AKC breed standard if we wish to keep the bullmastiff looking like a bullmastiff.
I may say that the "English Mastiff" is the only domesticated dog that's bigger than a "Rottweiler". I am pretty sure that if the Rottweiler and the English Mastiff fought, of course the English Mastiff will win because English Mastiff's are heavy and if the English Mastiff fought the Rottweiler, I am sure that the English Mastiff with squish the Rottweiler to death.
Yes, it is possible, if South America gives you permission. P.S. Please keep this in mind and as a future reference for what I'm going to tell you. If the percentage is greater than 69%-say 65%, 70%, 80% (in this case), or even 90% part wolf (of any breed), then you need to get a licensed permit from the Florida Conservation Bureau. This is the law! This is so that you have valid proof as a safety issue if anything should go wrong. This is in case the wolfdog gets aggressive and starts to attack someone. This is usually not the case in that all wolfdogs are aggressive. The only wofldogs that are aggressive by nature (most famously) is because they are bred with fighting dogs. Here are is a list of breeds of fighting dogs:Akita Inu (Japanese Akita)Alangu MastiffAlano Español (Spanish Mastiff)American AkitaAmerican Pit Bull Terrier (Pit Bull)American BulldogArgentine Dogo (Argentinian Mastiff)Bedlington TerrierBoston TerrierBoxerBully Kutta (Indian Mastiff)Caucasian Ovtcharka (Caucasian Shepherd)Central Asian Ovtcharka (Central Asian Shepherd)Dogue de Bordeaux (French Mastiff)Fila Brasileiro (Brazilian Mastiff)Irish Staffordshire Bull TerrierKorean Jindo DogLottatore BrindisinoGull Terrier (Bull Terrier)Gull Dong (Pakistan Bull Dog)Neapolitan MastiffNew Guinea Singing DogPerro de Presa Canario (Canary Dog)Perro de Presa Mallorquin (Ca de Bou) (Majorcan Mastiff; Mallorquin Mastiff)Scottish BulldogShar PeiStaffordshire Bull TerrierTosa Inu (Japanese Mastiff)P.S. the Tosa Inu is illegal in some states, as well as in Malta and New Zealand. So if you want one of these dogs, some of them you need to get a registered licensed permit legally from your state to see if the regulations allow such a dog to live inside of your home in the state that you live in. This is the law!
First attack from any of the sides will have an edge. a akita will probably beat a bull mastiff since it has a stronger bite force
