All dogs are suitable for training as they are all intelligent. However, some dogs are more intelligent than others such as cocker spaniels or guard dogs used in the police forces etc. Depending on what you would like the dog to be trained for different dogs are more and less suited. A springer spaniel is suitable for hunting as are lurcher pointers etc.

What training was you thinking for? I will try and suggest a breed?

I hope I have helped you- thank you

Where does one practice gun dog training?

Gun dog training is typically used with dogs that go on hunting trips. You should teach your dog basic obedience training first (the Yelp website should have some locations listed near you) and then you can find an advanced trainer (through Yelp or from the obedience trainer) that will help your dog. Sometimes dogs get spooked by loud noises and gun dog training will help your dog understand that the gun is used in hunting.

How effective is a dog whistle in training dogs, and does a dog whistle work to communicate with them?

A dog whistle can be effective in training dogs because it produces a high-frequency sound that is not easily heard by humans but can be heard by dogs. This sound can be used to get a dog's attention or to signal a specific command. However, the effectiveness of a dog whistle depends on the individual dog and their training. Some dogs may respond well to a dog whistle, while others may not be as responsive. Overall, a dog whistle can be a useful tool in communicating with and training dogs, but it is not guaranteed to work for every dog.
