The style of music associated with brass military and pipe bands is known as "marching band music" or "military music." This genre typically features brass instruments, percussion, and woodwinds, playing rhythmic, structured compositions designed for marching. It often includes traditional military marches, ceremonial music, and folk tunes, showcasing a strong, patriotic, and disciplined sound. Additionally, pipe bands specifically incorporate bagpipes and drums, creating a distinctive and powerful auditory experience.
