There are some great dvd fitness programs. I personally love the tae bo series with Billy Banks. These videos really get your heart rate up and the programs are only about 20 minutes in length.
Some examples of high intensity cardio exercises that can improve cardiovascular fitness and burn calories effectively include sprinting, jumping rope, cycling at a fast pace, and high-intensity interval training (HIIT) workouts.

to burn more calories
There is no one-fit-all answer in relation to the number of calories burned. It depends upon your age, your weight, your degree of cardiovascular fitness, your body composition, and whether you are walking on flat ground or an incline (as well as how far you are walking and how fast you are walking).
A man that weighs 230 pounds will burn approximately 1,200 calories doing fast paced cardio boxing for an hour. Walking for an hour will burn approximately 300 calories.
Depends on your weight, gender, age, fitness level etc, but not that much. Let's say an average burn during running is 600 cals/hour. Now, running a mile isn't going to take you that long, maybe 10 minutes or so. So you're looking at a burn of maybe 100 calories or thereabouts.
As long as you are alive you are already burning calories. And the more physically active you are - the more you use your muscles - the more calories you burn. So how far you have to run depends on how many calories you are aiming to burn. Me, I'll use up about 1000 cals on a 6-mile run.
It depends how fast you are walking, your body weight, your degree of fitness, what kind of ground you are walking on (soft or hard) and whether the ground is flat, or a slight incline, or a hill. Typically, people of average weight, average fitness, walking on average ground, walking at an average speed, might burn about 100 calories per mile. For the average person a slow walk might be 200 calories burned in an hour and a half, while for the average person a faster walk could burn as much as 500 calories in an hour and a half.
how much do you weigh, are you walking uphill, downhill or steady ground, how fast are you walking. needs more detail and need to be in the fitness section
