Elastic can be stretched and then reverts back to its original shape.
They are called smart shaped memory alloys they go back to their original shape when heated
This means that the original materials cannot be recovered, e.g. burning gas, beating an egg. Some chemical changes can be undone, but not readily.
Its an irreversible (chemical) change because when we burn it, it produces smoke and turns into ash. And because of that it can't come back to its original shape and stays irreversible.
You reverse it.
well the way i learned it, if you cannot bring something back to its original state its a chemical change. if you can, then its a physical change. For example-burning paper is a chemical change because you cannot bring that piece of paper back from the ashes.wrinkling paper is a physical change because you can unwrinkle the paper and bring it back to its original state.
Elastic is something that can be stretched but goes back to its original shape after.
It can revert back to its original shape.

You can't.
Elastic or Rubber
No. Well you could bend tham back into shape but the chances of the engine even running at all are low as you would have to get them back to their perfect original shape. They'd rip the guides to shreds if they are slighly out of shape, and before long, the cylinder head.
That's impossible. It would be in the exact same location as before.
the heat makes the air expand inside the ball, which in turn would make it "blow up" back to its original shape
This means that the original materials cannot be recovered, e.g. burning gas, beating an egg. Some chemical changes can be undone, but not readily.
When a solid rock deforms and then returns to its original shape, it is known as elastic deformation. The rock doesn't break under pressure, but instead changes its form, and after the pressure is released the rock goes back to its shape.
