∙ 6y agoA snow shoe rabbit is a herbivore meaning that it is a plant eater . A snow shoe rabbit eats mostly grass but, also eats many plants including dandylions.
I'm raising two one day old snowshoe's so far I have found that they take a formula for kittens with a syringe. 2 a day. A mother snowshoe has the baby's and leaves then comes back 2x a day to feed. The baby's are born with fur and there eyes open, they can crawl and hop soon after birth. 4 weeks of the warm formula, then they can be weaned to eat plants, clover's, leaves and fern's. Winter they eat sticks and bark and buds. However there also supposed to eat there "dropping's. This helps use all the plant nutrients. U can find most this information by googeling snowshoe hares.
