Most children didnt go to school others got very poor education
Education was horrible in the great depression. Unlsess you call learning to survive on your own education. Many schools actually closed during the great depression. Most children couldn't even afford to go to school, or didn't even get a chance to go. So many children and youths were uneducated and unemployed, this was the main reason the NYA (national youth adminsitration) was created.

They needed education and the men needed to work.
people who had no jobs or money
The education that some children had in the 1930's was difficult. Some children had to quit school and work because of the Depression. Other schools closed down because teachers could not be paid. Education suffered in general.
Children were affected just like anyone else. They had less to eat and less money to spend as their parents were most likely barely making money or did not have a job. Many people lost almost everything in the Depression, as did children. Some had to try to get a job or make extra money if they were old enough and forget about school or college. Everyone had to make sacrifices.
