The most obvious educational requirement for someone who is not yet a lawyer at all is that to be an attorney you must take and pass the Bar Exam of the particular state where you want to practice law. The vast majority of people become eligible to take the Bar Exam by graduating from an approved law school, although there may still be instances of people training with lawyers to become eligible to take the Bar in some states. To get into law school, you need at least a bachelor's degree, and you need to take the LSAT exam. While most colleges have a pre-law program focusing on political science, philosophy and logic, a student in any major can apply to law school. When I was in law school, my classmates were from all different college majors. If you want a good job as a lawyer, don't spend your high school and undergrad learning political science. Spend it getting to know other attorneys who will help you get a job afterward. Almost any undergrad college course is pretty useless for the actual Bar exam and you won't remember it that long anyway. Put your efforts into networking.
