The main reason the government regulates on healthy living is because they are allowed to. Considering they are a higher power than the regular population, they are allowed to put rules into effect if they choose. One example of the government regulating on healthy living was the recent larger size soda ban in NYC.
Jefferson did many things to try to reduce the power of the Federal government. He tried to cut federal budget and reduce federal debt. He decreased the size of government departments. It depends on the engine. Horsepower is a measurement of the engines effect. CC the size... It is possible for engines with the same size to have different effects.
For a given experiment, and a given sample size, there is a probability that a treatment effect of a given size will yield a statistically significant finding. That is, if the treatment effect is 1 unit, then that probability (the power) might be 50%, and the power for a treatment effect of 2 units might be 75%, etc. Unfortunately, before the experiment, we don't know the treatment effect size, and indeed after the experiment we can only estimate it. So a statistically significant result means that, whatever the treatment effect size happens to be, Mother Nature gave you a "thumbs up" sign. That is more likely to happen with a large effect than with a small one.
The size of the fruit does not effect the voltage. If you're making a light, the size can effect how long it lasts. The greater the size, the longer it will last

Three sources of the major bureaucratic power are size, expertise and delegation of power. As the USA has grown in size, the budget of the bureaucracy has as well, and money has a lot of influence in the world today. In our 300 plus years of being the United States, the people in power have gained more and more expertise in the government as the years go on, which helps the bureaucracy to make good decisions when it comes to its power. The bureaucracy also has delegated its power to a wide array of agencies, which has only expanded its influence over the years. (found this answer on a test in my university's government & politics class.)
