basically the amistad was a ship in which carried black slaves to the U.S to sell them as if they were property. the slaves were treated harshly during this time. The story of the amistad rebellion is about the time where on of the slave men manages to escape from the lower decks and sets free everyone. The slaves all get on the to deck were they slowly one by one started to attack the captain, cook and the white men which were in charge.
