I believe the 1000 year of Christ's reign is in the Book of Revelation, when John saw the vision of the end times, this is after the second coming of Christ. After Christ receives the Saints, he lived with them for a thousand years while the devil is exiled to earth with the wicked.
John is one of the disciples of Jesus Christ.
Vision of St. John on Patmos was created in 1522.
John the Baptist was baptizing in obedience to God. God had commanded John to perform what's referred to as a "baptism of repentance," to prepare the way for the coming Messiah. In effect, John was "helping" God, the Jews, and Christ as well.
No, he has not risen from the dead. he is still waiting for the end of time when all will rise again.
Apostle John was the son of Zebedee and Salome. He was a fisherman by trade, as were his father and brother James, who was also called to be a disciple of Jesus. John is known as 'the disciple that Jesus loved' or the 'other disciple' which are the ways he refers to himself in the Gospel of John. John, along with Peter and James, were especially close to Jesus. John was present at the crucifixion and was entrusted with the care of Mary, Christ's mother. John also saw into the tomb of the risen Christ. After he witnessed the ascension of Christ into Heaven, John preached the Gospel message, and wrote the Gospel and Epistles bearing his name and also the book of Revelation. He is the only disciple believed to not have died a martyr's death.
John did not say a word after he baptized Jesus christ.
Ronald John Christ has written: 'The narrow act'
Christ of Saint John of the Cross was created in 1951.
It needs to be understood that John "had nothing in mind" when he recorded "Revelation," other than to "write down what he saw in the vision" sent to him by Jesus Christ [whose Revelation it is]."The Revelation of Jesus Christ... to shew unto His servants things which must shortly come to pass... He sent and signified it by His angel unto John: who bare record of the Word of God, and of the testimony of Jesus Christ, and of all the things that he saw." (Rev.1:1-2)None of The Revelation was of "John's intent or purpose" AT ALL, much less, to direct or indicate anything contained in the vision sent to him.
