Absolutely none. Fish take food into their mouths and taste it. If they like it, they swallow, if not they will spit it out. The colour of the flakes has no bearing on what the fish takes in and tastes in my experience.
For some dogs yes. I had a glass dish for my dog and she didn't like it so I purchased an aluminum one (good quality) that has rubber on the bottom so it doesn't slide around on the floor and she's fine. Vets and scientists would have you believe that dogs are color blind, but they are not and it's been proved many times. I have a Bishon Fise X, and she has three or four balls of different colors. If I ask her to get the red ball before we go for our walk she will pass all other balls and search the house for that red ball. If she can't find it then I'll say, go get the orange one and she goes directly to it. So I say 'poo-poo' to what scientists believe re dogs and color blindness just because their eyes are different from humans.
Keep in mind your dog may also be just fussy because they aren't stupid and can smell you cooking up your dinner and know human food tastes a whole lot better than their food. I have two dogs and my Bishon Frise X eats without problems, but, my Cockapoo is very fussy. Of course I save a little of my chicken or fish for them as a treat, but, they are fed before we are and if my Cockapoo doesn't eat his dinner I will save his treats from my plate and give it to him later. I never feed my dogs directly from my plate, but wait until I have finished dinner. My Cockapoo has gotten the drift and eats his dinner now and then gets his treat. You are the leader of the pack (this is true in Dog Training) so you have to be sure you are giving the best possible dog food to your pet and if they refuse to eat then put it up on the counter for 15 minutes and try again. If they refuse again then put the food in the fridge and then try later in the evening. When your dog gets hungry enough it will eat! If I have to put dog food in the fridge I will warm it up with a bit of hot water as very cold food is not good for dogs or cats.
I also have a cat Molly that refuses to drink water out of plastic. I have a big glass 'looks like a large cocktail glass with glass stem) and colored flat glass stones (from the craft store) at the bottom of it and then her water and she loves it. When we go camping I have to bring it. She will often just stare at those colored stones. LOL
The food color does affect an animal but it would have to be because an animal sees the food color as a goldfish if it was a carrot or red could be a sign of blood therefore the animal would eat it.
As a matter a fact I think it does (not sure)! My chickens seem to love the color white, but they still love everything like noodles, bread, veggies, corn and other things.
It depends on the taste of the food
Depends on color of food
As an effect of the poor lighting, it was difficult to see the exact color shades.
