These are high energy radiations which could cause harmful effects on all the the living organisms present on earth. Eye cataract, skin cancer, suppression of immune system are some of the harmful n fatal consequences of the UV radiations reaching the earth's surface. These UV radiations also cause the the population of Plankton's to decrease which are a major part of the various marine food chains.
