It went through Europe and killed many people; about one third of the population died. (this number may be between 30 and 60 percent of Europe's population, it is not known exactly) The population took 400 years to grow back to what it was before.

The Black Death had a major impact on the culture. This like writing and art almost came to a stop. So many people were dying that deaths were almost ignored (there weren't things like funerals very much any more).

People moved to cities to try to get higher wages. As a result, towns began to grow, and estates began to decline. This played a role in eliminating the system of feudalism.

It killed many people, men, women, and children, it was carried by rats I believe, the childrens rhyme "ring around the rosy, pocket full of posey ashes ashes we all fall down," that is about the plague, but it went "ring around the rosey, pocket full of posey, achoo achoo we all fall down" because the first symptoms were sneezes. I think that the affect on Europe as a whole was that fact that it killed millions of people and the had to restart life after that pretty much.

It had the most dramatic effect on Europe, and even had an effect on many other parts of the world, but it killed millions.

The black death carried by rats and travellers across Europe caused the death of millions of people. It was indiscriminate of age gender and physical ability. Whole villages and towns were wiped out. Those that lived in the rural areas were safest due to the limited number of people there but urban people some realised this and made for these areas hoping to escape. They of course included carriers of the disease. The impact was trade shortages, foods became scare, bodies built up and had to be burned and where this didnt happen then cholera impacted as well.
