It is a myth that it is only fathers can be abusive, but with todays pressures and anything to do with drugs or alcohol a woman can also be abusive towards a child. The child is the one being mentally and sometimes physically scarred and unless someone in the family; a neighbor or teacher reports this abuse to Child Aid this child may never make it to a ripe old age or, if they do they will have serious psychological problems such as beating their own children; stopping them from becoming as productive as they can be in the workplace or in society as a whole. If one parent is abusive then other parent must do something about it and leave that marriage.
