In me i know it conpletely makes me want absolutly nothing to do with what i am being taught. Although im a special case being as i was brought up as a jehovah witness but thats an argument for another day. The thing with religion and teens is if there is any rift between what they believe and what they are forced into beliving it will continue to push them further and further away. For there to be any success in bringing up a teen in religious standards there needs to be faith already present or else its completly a lost cause, because the result will be your child completely resenting religion.

In the US, your religion is primarily chosen for you at birth. I wouldn't say there's one most popular religion that teens "join" though.

Teenagers have greater influence of religion and religious activities as a research indicates that the majority of teenagers believe in God and its existence and from any point of view it is good thing as fear of God keeps the teens away from all those things which are destructive for them. However ,there is small portion of those teens who believe that there is no God and the world would continue like this. So ,influence of religion effect teens in a number of ways.

The program that is called NIDA for teens seems to specialise in explaining drugs. Its a way for them to know the effects of the drugs on the body in hopes the teens won't want to experiment with them.
