The Egyptian`s used camels or they would just walk if they traveled on land. But if it was on water they had special boats that they made that were suprisingly light for the time, but most were for the wealthy like the pharaoh who had servants on his boat but those who fished for a living also had nice modes of transportation( minus the servants).
why did egyptians use sailboats? the used sailboats because they where a good way to travel in water
Traveling With Others
Camels by land, and boats on the Nile
Camals
traveling helped Egyptians because they were able to use different sources of ways to travel. They could travel by the Nile river using boats ,they could use the ox and goats that were raised and they could use Onagar's
instead of building great roads like the Romans, the Egyptians made use f the Nile river. to travel north, they let sails down and let the current carry them. to travel south, they raised sails and followed the trade winds.
