Best Answer

There are too many electrons.

This would be a negative ion of lithium-6 (stable but less common isotope) that does not occur naturally. The element with 3 electrons, 3 protons, and *4 neutrons* is lithium-7, the most common isotope. It forms a stable positive ion (2 electrons).

no element,

Be (Berylium) has 4 electrons and 4 protons, but 9 neutrons

when you take 4 away for the 9 you get 5. so there isn't an element that has all 4's

Beryllium. The number of protons is the atomic number. So the element with 4 protons has the atomic number 4, which is beryllium.

There could not be 4 electrons. That should be lithium if it has 3 electrons.

If the atomic number of an element is five how many protons does the element have?

Neutrons do not affect the neutrality (or charge) of an atom; protons and electrons do. In order to be neutral, the number of protons must be the same as the number of electrons.

What is the identity of an element with 5 protons 7 neutrons and 5 electrons?

Five protons makes this the element boron. The number of protons is the atomic number, and determines the identity of an element. This example would be the boron-12 isotope because it contains 5 protons and 7 neutrons.

How many protons neutrons and electrons are in Bi?

Five proton and electrons, 6 neutrons. This because this is the atomic number of boron, which states how many protons and electron in the element. For neutrons you must subtract the atomic number (5 in this case) from the rounded. average atomic mass.

Which element has 5 protons 7 neutrons 5 electrons and a mass of 12?

protons are always the atomic number so if it has five protons it would beee boron

Why are number of electrons and protons in boron equal?

Five protons and five electrons. It has two stable isotopes with five and six neutrons, respectively.

An element has 4 protons 5 neutrons and 4 electrons What is the atomic mass of the element?

That would Beryllium, with an atomic number of 4 and mass number of 9Hope this helped!

Which atoms are considered neutral?

An atom with with five protons, six neutrons, and five electrons

What element has a mass number of thirty-five?

Chlorine:Atomic number = 17Mass number = 35Number of protons = 17Number of electrons = 17Number of neutrons = 35-17 = 18

What are all five parts of an atom?

Protons, neutrons, nucleus, electrons, electron shells.

How many protons neutrons and electrons are in Li?

In Lithium-5, The number five indicates the mass number or weight in amu's. This is a sum of both the proton and neutrons in an atom. Since Lithium always has 3 protons(otherwise it would be a different element), it can be deduce that it has only 2 neutrons. And usually, unless it is an ion, the number of electrons and protons correspond because protons are negative and therefore they attract negative electrons. So it would also have 3 electrons. In short: 3 protons 2 neutrons 3 electrons

How many electrons protons neutrons boron have?

5 Protons,6 Electrons,5 Neutrons
