All elements in the right most column of the Periodic Table are called noble gases. They are
Helium
Neon
Argon
Krypton
Xenon
Radon &
Ununoctium
Helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon and radon
XE
Radon (Rn)- APEX
The noble gases: Helium, Neon, Argon, Krypton, Xenon, Radon, all the gases in that chemical group or family. The noble gases do not usually form compounds, except under extreme conditions: high heat and pressure, and then only in the presence of a catalyst, such a platinum [Pt] or nickel [Ni].
Valence shells mean that the outermost orbits of electrons are full. Recall that from the inside out, the number of electrons for a shell to be full are: 2, 8, 8, 8, etc... So, Helium, He (2) has a filled shell. Neon (10) has a filled inner shell (2) and a filled outer shell (8): 2 + 8 = 10. Argon (18) has a filled inner shell (2), another filled shell (8), and a valent shell (8): 2 + 8 + 8 = 18. The family is composed of the non-reative Noble Gases.

Elements in families have similar propertieshahaha, i had the same worksheet too!how do u know which worksheet I'm doing?q: what is it called?A. ELEMENT EASIESB. ELEMENT QUESTIONSC. ELEMENTS HAVE THEIR WAYS...D. ELEMENTARY FACTStell me ur awnser. thx. =zoegurll
The Noble Gases are the most stable group of elements because since they have a full outer shell of valence electrons they cannot lost or gain electrons. Because of this the are inert, and cannot react with other elements in normal circumstances
"Noble gases" is the usual name given. The noble gases are inert due to closed electron systems and strong typically antibonding character in their molecular orbital systems.
Heluim belongs to a group of elements called the noble gases
The Noble Gases-because they rarely combine with other elements and are found only as uncombined elements in nature.
The Group 18 elements are called the noble gases or sometimes inert gases. Wikipedia has information on the noble gases, and a link is provided.
The noble gases (aka inert gases) are the most stable elements.
All noble gases elements are gases.
Noble gases
Inert means unreactive, and most of these gases never react.

Elements in the Periodic Table that are not reactive are called the Noble Gases.
The family of elements to the far right of the periodic table is called the noble gases. The noble gases include helium, neon, argon, krypton, xenon, and radon. They are known for their low reactivity and stability due to their full outer electron shells.
