There are two galaxies refereed to as the Sagittarius dwarf galaxy.Sagittarius dwarf Elliptically galaxy: is an elliptical loop shaped satellite galaxy of the Milky Way Galaxy.Sagittarius dwarf Irregular Galaxy: Lies about 3.4 million light-years away and is not within the Milky Way Galaxy.
The nearest elliptical is further away, unless you count dwarf elliptical galaxies, in which case there's one or two much closer to us. The nearest large elliptical is about 10 million light years away. The nearest dwarf elliptical is only about 0.8 million light years away.
That might refer to M32, in the Andromeda constellation. It seems that the current distance estimate is 2.65 million light-years.
The Andromeda Galaxy is the closest large galaxy to us and is approximately 2.5 million light years away! The Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy is the closest galaxy of any size that we know of. It's about 70,000 light years from Earth, or about 50,000 light years from the galactic center, and orbits the Milky Way.
Messier 32 is a dwarf elliptical galaxy about 2.65 million light years away in the constellation AndromedaMaffei 1 is a giant elliptical galaxy in the constellation about 10 billion light years away in the constellation Cassiopeia. It is the closest giant elliptical galaxy to the Milky Way

The Sagittarius Dwarf Elliptical Galaxy orbits at 50,000 light years. The Large and Small Magellanic Clouds are also very close to the Milky Way, but there is some debate over whether they are "orbiting" the larger galaxy. However, orbiting or not, they are still considered "satellites" of the Milky Way. All of these galaxies are very small compared to the Milky Way and most are irregular in shape, all of them lacking the spiral structure normally associated with a well-organized galaxy. The Phoenix Dwarf Galaxy is 1.44 million light years from the center of the Milky Way, and NGC 6822 (aka Barnard's Galaxy) is 1.6 million light years away.See related link for more information.
a galaxies does not move that is why there are many stars
An elliptical galaxy is a galaxy having an approximately ellipsoidal shape and a smooth, nearly featureless brightness profile. The galaxies range in shape from nearly spherical to highly flattened and have hundreds of millions to over one trillion stars.See link for more information
The BFB2004 VV 29 1718 galaxy (one of the background galaxies of the Tadpole Galaxy) is an elliptical galaxy 7200 million light-years (redshift of 0.85) from Earth in the Draco constellation, and is 100,000 light-years in diameter (same size as the Milky Way), and contains about 200 billion stars (twice the number of the Milky Way's stars). It emitted its light 7200 million years ago, when the universe was 6600 million years old.
