The continent of North America was referred to as 'The Land of America' in the year 182. There is little else known about what people thought of the continent of North America during this time period.
It's on the continent we call the United States of America. It is the continent that everyone else calls "North" America. Americans are hypocrites, and... Assuming you don't know where Canada is, I'll assume that you are one.
Many millions of people do live in South America. Inhospitable places where food cannot be grown or there are no resources are small islands, deserts and mountain tops much as anywhere else. Otherwise it is a benign as any other inhabited continent.
NONE and nowhere. The Technocratic social design is for the Continent of North America it will include some 30 nations here in the west it is NOT APPLICABLE anywhere else. It is a continental design for this Continent a Technocracy cannot exist elsewhere. -- DFR
There are 6 continents: America, Europe, Asia, Africa, Oceania and Antartica. Note that America is one single continent divided in 3 subcontinents: North, Central and South America. You might read somewhere else that North America and South America are two continents and that Central America, well, is just a part of North America. Be rational about this and choose the answer you want; however, I challenge you to call North American to some proud Cuban girl. Let me know how bad did she kicked you ;)
In summer in South America, it is summer in South America. If you mean what season is it in somewhere else in the world, when it is summer on South America, that would depend on where in the world you are talking about. Most of South America is in the southern hemisphere, so anywhere else in the southern hemisphere will also have summer and in the northern hemisphere it would be winter.
There is no single fashion in America. Being a continent, and even within the countries of the continent, there are many different fashions. Be it of clothing, entertainment, arts or anything else.
Central America, Mexico, the Caribbean and most of South America.
No, cougars are from North and South America and are found no where else.
In the 1500's, Queen Isabel and King Ferdinand sent various explorers to South America. The explorers, including Henry Cortes, wiped out the Native American population living in South America and claimed it for themselves. The King and Queen of Spain wanted the entire South America, but Portugal argued that THEY had discovered the continent, too. So, it was divided in half: Spain getting the area on the left coast, and Portugal getting the area on the right coast. (That's why Portugese is spoken in Brazil and no where else.)
There are three types of rainforest. These include tropical, temperate, and equatorial. Rain forests are found in Southeast Asia, South America, and West Africa.
Jaguars are found in North, South and Central America. They are found nowhere else.
