Most people would tell you it would be mechanical but no its sound energy.
when the drum is hit vibrations travel along the surface of the object the drum is on.
When an object falls to the floor and breaks, some of the kinetic energy imparted to the object by its falling is converted into vibrations of the surrounding air as it is stopped abruptly by the floor. You hear these vibrations of the air as sound.
turns into vibration and heat energy.
The kinetic energy of the ball in motion allows it to roll across the floor. As the ball is pushed or dropped, this kinetic energy is transferred to the ball's rotational motion, causing it to roll forward. Friction between the ball and the floor also plays a role in its movement.
To insulate a bed and minimize vibrations from the floor, you can place rubber pads or mats under the legs of the bed to absorb vibrations. Additionally, using a thick rug or carpet underneath the bed can help dampen vibrations. Adding a foam mattress topper can also provide some insulation from vibrations.
When you drop a ball to the floor, the potential energy stored in the ball due to its height is converted to kinetic energy as it accelerates towards the ground. Upon impact with the floor, some of this kinetic energy is dissipated as sound and heat energy, causing the ball to rebound to a lower height.
The kinetic energy of the ball is converted into elastic energy through deformation (I assume we are not talking about steel balls). The elastic energy is then released, pushing the ball back up. Some energy is lost in the ball where it will cause heating, and some is probably lost to the floor, depending how elastic the floor is, so the rebound bounce won't reach the same height as the initial height, but total energy must be conserved.
Airborne vibrations are vibrations that travel through the air rather than through a solid medium like a floor or a wall. They are caused by sound waves and can be felt as vibrations in the air, typically due to loud noises or machinery.
Is the toilet leaking on the floor and causing damage or problems in your bathroom?
sound vibration is the vibration which is given from a moving object i.e. a chair moving across the floor, the chair is causing vibration on the floor, this vibration is carried from the floor into the air, where then the vibration travels throught the air until it gets to your ear. this is when the air vibrations hit your ear drum which then makes you hear the chair scaping across the floor. hope this helps!!!! :)
Almost for certain, you have water damage in your sub floor which is weakening the floor, causing it to sag, causing the tile to crack. Yes you could replace the sub floor and flooring, but find what's causing the water damages and fix that first. or a joist could be broken
A floor polisher converts electrical energy into mechanical energy to rotate the polishing pad. Friction between the pad and the floor surface generates heat energy.
