1. Destarch a potted plant by placing it in a dark place for about 2 hours.

2. then remove one leaf and test it for starch.

3. sandwich a leaf which is still attached to the plant, between two pieces of black paper. Each paper has a certain pattern cut out from it. Fasten the papers with paper clip. Place the plant in strong sunlight.

4. After a few hours, remove the leaf and test it for starch also.

Recall the conditions necessary for photosynthesis?

Sunlight and CO2.

What is necessary to run photosynthesis?

Sunlight is most important.Besides that carbon dioxide is necessary.

How temperature affects photosynthesis not only about its rate?

Photosynthesis happens rapidly when there is sunlight. Sunlight is a main factor necessary for Photosynthesis. So if the temperature is not hot enough, photosynthesis might not happen as rapidly as it happens when the sunlight is directly there.

Is the sunlight necessary for the plant growth?

Not always, but generally, yes. Plants need sunlight for photosynthesis.

Why cant deep water ecosystems rely on photosynthesis?

Because there is no light. Sunlight doesn't reach that far down.

What is necessary for photosythesis to occur?

Water, sunlight, carbon dioxide and chlorophyll are necessary for photosynthesis to occur.

What gas is necessary for photosynthesis?

The gas that is necessary for photosynthesis is carbon dioxide. The carbon dioxide has a chemical reaction with the water and sunlight to create glucose.

How does drought affect photosynthesis?

Photosynthesis requires sunlight (it is one of the main factors necessary for Photosynthesis) and during droughts sunlight is not obtainable. Therefore, it affects the process of Photosynthesis.

Conclusion for carbon dioxide is necessary for photosynthesis?

The conclusion that carbon dioxide is necessary for photosynthesis is correct. Carbon dioxide and sunlight will be required so that plants can obtain energy.

What is necessary in plants for photosynthesis to take place?

For photosynthesis to take place plants require sunlight water carbon dioxide chlorophyll

What part of a plant is the sun's energy necessary to do its job?

The chloroplasts in plant cells need sunlight for photosynthesis.

What are the sources OF photosynthesis?

The sources of photosynthesis are sunlight, carbon dioxide, and water. Sunlight provides the energy necessary for photosynthesis to occur, while carbon dioxide and water are absorbed by plants through their leaves. These components are converted into glucose and oxygen through the process of photosynthesis.
