How to remove Sharpie stains from cotton fabric.
Cotton is a good choice for quilting. It offers durability and is easy to maintain. Stains are easily removed as well and the material is ever so soft.
because the material is made of polyester, which will watch off. were as oil stains on cotton will never watch off.
Cotton tee's clean the easiest, and jeans are most durable.
You can use hairspray to remove ink from clothing. Spray enough hairspray on the stain so that it penetrates the material. Then rub the fabric on itself. This helps to release the ink from the fibres. Then rub some handsoap onto the stain and rub into the fabric. Scrub the fabric and rinse. Repeat if necessary. This works best on cotton, polyester, and denim.
A cotton fabric is going to breathe better than polyester in the warm/hot weather. Same is true for the difference between the two for bedding - would much rather sleep on cotton sheets than polyester.
