Truth or reality as distinct from mere statement or belief
A noun is a word for a person, a place, or a thing.The noun 'truth' is a word for a fact that has been verified, a piece of information about circumstances that exist or events that have occurred, conformity to reality or actuality.The nouns 'truth', 'fact', 'information', and 'conformity' are all nouns, words for things.
I don't think anybody ever figured out WHY this is so. It is just an observed fact of nature.

"They" define truth as not speaking things that are not true and not doings things that make people think a false premise. Truth is defined in a number of ways; something based on the actual fact of the matter, conformity to reality, a verified and indisputable fact, the state of being true, an obvious accepted fact, ideal or fundamental reality, fidelity or constancy.

Phenomena is plural for phenomenon meaning A fact, occurrence, or circumstance that is observed or observable. Fog is a natural phenomenon in nature meaning exactly that. It is a natural occurrence that can be observed in nature. Think of it like a rainbow, wave on the ocean, and or even a volcano! These are natural occurrences that amaze us and can or have been observed. Fog is amazing to see. For example, you can stand right in the middle of fog and yet you can really feel it. All you feel is the chilled crispness of it. Fog is a natural phenomenon in nature!

Truth is not more than a fact, simply because a fact is the truth about something. A fact is basically defined as being something that is in existence or is based on an actual occurrence.
Facts can be observed and measured. Facts are repeatable much to the annoyance of certain eye-witnesses. If it can't be repeated it is not a fact. Sociological and thermodynamic facts, which are derived from statistical analysis, are not as true as fact derived from direct measurements. Historical fact, which are not repeatable in the strictest sense of the definition, are the least true of all.
