Christianity was an open, all inclusive religion which actively sought converts. It featured a charitable God who would forgive all sins as long as the adherents expressed faith and trust in him. As members of the Roman Empire, Christians were able to roam the kingdom seeking converts. Stories of their Martyrdom drew admiration, and the conversion of Constantine made it the official state religion.
