Are mummies real?

YES. However, they don't come to life and try to kill you. They are just wrapped, dead bodies in fancy coffins. You see, thousands of years ago, when those mummies were alive, they were great kings. They worshipped idols of their false gods. Their gods had an animal head and a human body. This was to represent being in 2 worlds. Here are some god and goddess names. Bast (the cat goddess), Set (god of fear and danger) and Orpheus (god of death). These are just a couple of the many gods and goddess' that they made up. They also believed that when you die and you had a pet when you were alive, that that pet would guide your spirit to the underworld. If you want to learn more, read the book, The Red Pyramid by Rick Riordan. It's got tons of facts with a side of adventure! I agree. The Red Pyramid is amazing! To those who've read it, I bet you agree Mummies ARE real, but they don't actually come to life and start walking around. yes, mummies are real but they don't walk around like in movies. mummies are dead people from a long time ago wrapped up in cloth but they are not alive or anything. that is just made up by people who make horror movies and stuff. kinda like how zombies are fake but the dead people are real
