You can do that with table, Insert - Table. Table can have visible or invisible borders, Design tab (appears when you insert or draw table) Table Styles section - Borders.
You can add in-line CSS or Internal CSS. To add borders, an inline CSS would be more effective.

Marinal ridge - Round, raied border on the mesial and distal portions of the lingual surfaces of the anterior teeth and the occlusal table of posterior teeth.
For easier viewing, especially once the table is printed, using the 'borders' button is very helpful. If you choose to have borders present in your spreadsheet, it simply makes the table easier to read as everything is separated by lines. The term 'fill in the table' simply means that you are filling in the table with the information that you want to fill it in with.
