These civilizations were the Aztecs, the Mayans and the Inca. The Aztecs were native of central Mexico, while Mayans expanded over southern Mexico, Belize, Guatemala, Honduras and El Salvador. Finally, the Inca established themselves in western South America, on parts of present-day Argentina, Bolivia, Chile, Ecuador, Peru and Colombia.

All these civilizations had in common traits such as a monolithic architecture, complex hieroglyphics, astronomic studies and sophisticate agriculture and irrigation systems. Also, all of them were utterly destroyed by Spanish conquistadors during the 16th and 17th centuries.

They had your mom. Nah. They had the heat and the rocky land to go off of in both places. Mesoamerica was modern-day Mexico, right? Right. So, Mesoamerica and South America would have the same kind of heat and the same, rocky/hilly land features.
