May be paint shop pro have certain better features. But why to pay for a software when you get almost equally competent substitute free. Add the plugins to paint.net and it gets all the features of a professional photo editor. Paint Shop Pro in my opinion is much better than Paint.net. For PSP you can find more tutorials on the internet, and a large amount of free picture tubes; masks etc to download. Hope that helps.

I know nothing About photo shop, and that's the cheapest one and I was just wondering if it still has all the features and things to create them, just a yes or no answer will be just fine....
Adobe Photoshop is a graphics editing application popular for it's extensive amount of features. Photoshop is also, currently, the leading graphics editing application. Photo shop is also an image creation software as well as an editor. Photo shop can create any effect or style needed in a drawing or painting or layout. There are graphic software that can do specialized work faster and more efficient than Photo shop (such as painter for realistic paint effects), but Photo shop can do it all in one program. The basics of Photo shop are easy to learn, even the CS versions. They are very intuitive, and there are several ways to do almost everything to work with an individual's style of drawing and skill level yet you can spend years learning all the pro level features. Photo shop works by altering individual pixels in an image as opposed to a vector drawing program that draws with points, lines and objects mathematically. Photo shop is best with images that have complex textures, blends and photo realism, but Photo shop is also very good at vector drawing as long as the image doesn't need to be scaled and you don't need specialized CAD drawing tools
Versions of adobe photo shop?
Well I use Photo Shop Cs3 & Jasc Paint Shop Pro. I like JPSP better. - I use both Paint Shop Pro Photo and Photoshop. The Paint Shop Pro versions I've used are verion 5 up to the current X2. Photoshop I have used versions 7 up to the current CS3 - CS4. Each program has its own special features, and more. To answer you in simple terms. Most Graphic Design Artists will use several graphic programs on one image. This is due to the fact that each program has its "own" special uses. - Photoshop is better for professionals, as it offers more professional features. - Paint Shop Pro also offers professional features, but it is better for your average graphic design and editing due to ease of use. - Paint Shop Pro is better when it comes to cost. The cost of the program is average for Graphic programs. It is affordable to those that are serious about their project(s). - Photoshop is not better when it comes to cost. It is a very expensive program. The cost of the program fits more into the financial levels of "business use". - Paint Shop Pro is better when it comes to ease of use. The control panel seems to confuse people at first, but once you review it you have a decent understanding of what the tools are. - Photoshop is not better when it comes to ease of use. The control panel can be overwhelming. It will take some research to understand many of its features. - Paint Shop Pro makes it easier to manipulate layers. The usage of layers is pretty standard. - Photoshop is a bit confusing when it comes to manipluation of layers. I feel Photoshop requires more steps. - Both PS and PSP is heavily used and you can find helpful tutorial sites for tutoring. Michele's Paint Shop offers PSP tutorials. All around Photoshop is likely better for the hardcore Graphic Designer. Paint Shop Pro is better for the new to advanced Graphic Designer. I state this on experience and comments from others that use both of these program. Some will not agree, but when it comes to which program is easier, I believe it all depends on your prior experience to decide on which is easier to use.
