First and foremost, the lion does not hunt prey, it is the lioness. Her speed and dexterity, coupled with being able to blend into the African bushveld is what gives the species its abilities to survive in an otherwise harsh landscape. Even the black lion (named for its mane, not body colour) is able to blend, although the black lion is now heading for the endangered species list because of the western world who hunt them for sport to get a prize for their homes or offices.

Borneo's habitat is threatened due to human activity. People have cut down trees and built farms and homes in areas that used to be pristine habitat, making it hard for the native animals and plants to survive.
When farmers need land to plant crops they need to cut down trees where pandas live to make enough land to plant their crops. After the trees are cut down it harms the pandas because the pandas need that tree bamboo to survive inside their habitat. But then the pandas need to move to another habitat where they can survive and have enough food to eat. Hope this helped.
fewer mammals and birds can survive after trees have been cut down because it is their habitat and their food. cutting trees down will cause loss of habitat, and if there are too many animals of one species in the area, then some will die, especially the weaker ones. another problem with cutting trees down is that it no longer provides the oxygen that we need to survive. if we were to cut all the trees down, it would not be long until planet earth reflects what it is like to be in space, and everyone would die.
King Corbras are endangered because since their habitat is the African rains forests we humans are cutting down the trees and using them for products so we are destroying their natural habitat. Hope this helped.

Moist open land is the habitat of the Lily-leaved Twayblade (Liparis lilifolia).Specifically, this wild orchid handles moist soils. It therefore is able to survive in floodplains and along stream banks. But it also may grow up and down moist wooded slopes.
