A snow leopard as a dull coloured fur, which means that it is less easy to spot in the snow.

They also have a long thick fur and small rounded ears, as well as a high volume to surface area ratio, so to minimize heat loss.

They have wide feet, so to distribute weight and allow them to walk on snow easier. They also have a tail which is long and flexible, allowing it to balance easier. The tail is also very furry, so that the leopard can use it to cover its face when sleeping.
